Amazing experience! The attention to detail in the Saving Sherlock room was incredible. I loved all the old style decor. We really enjoyed our 59 minutes in the room and will be back to try out Cabin in the woods.

ESCAPE ROOM 101
WHAT IS AN ESCAPE ROOM?
You and your team will be locked in a themed room for 60 minutes. Players will have to race the clock by finding clues and solving puzzles in order to successfully complete the challenge of escaping the room.
WILL WE BE PHYSICALLY LOCKED IN?
The room escape games real life setting is completely immersive once you’re inside. The door will lock behind you. However, for the safety and enjoyment of all players, a participant may exit a live room escape game at any time. Keep in mind, once a player exits they will not be allowed to re-enter.
WHAT AGES CAN PLAY A LIVE ROOM ESCAPE GAME?
Our attraction is designed for players that are 14 years of age and older.
Between ages 14 and 18 you will need to be accompanied by an adult\\guardian\\parent at all times inside the room.
Please note that we have 2 categories of rooms: Suspense (Cabin in the Woods, Saving Sherlock and The Abandoned Theatre), and Adventure (Race to the Sacred Jewel, The Fast and the Curious and Around the World in 60 Minutes). We recommend our adventure rooms for younger players. Each room offers a different challenge.
DO YOU HAVE TO BE FIT TO PLAY?
No, this is not necessary. Players of all fitness levels are welcome.
HOW MANY PLAYERS CAN PARTICIPATE?
The rooms are designed for up to 6-8 players at a time, as follows:
Up to 6 Players: Around the world in 60 Minutes, Race to the Sacred Jewel and The Abandoned Theatre.
Up to 8 Players: Cabin in the Woods, Saving Sherlock, and The Fast and the Curious.
Couples and smaller groups are welcome; you don’t need a full group of players in order to participate.
WHAT IS THE PRICE?
The escape room price per player is R250.
Each time slot includes one full hour to complete the challenge.
WHEN DO I NEED TO ARRIVE?
All “escapers” should arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled game. To provide the best experience for all participants, the game doors cannot be re-opened once the game begins.
WILL I PLAY WITH STRANGERS?
No. In order to make this experience as enjoyable as possible, your Brainwaves Escape Room Game will be private. You will only play with the people you choose to play with.
WHO ARE ESCAPE ROOMS FOR?
EVERYONE! Brainwaves Escape Rooms are for everyone. Couples, friends, family, corporate groups. and any other grouping you can think of. We do, however, have a recommended minimum age of 14 years old, and players under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) while playing the rooms.
